Graphic Design is ever present in our lives. It is there when we buy a movie
ticket and when the credits roll; when we read a map and when we buy a cd. Good graphic design is present in our lives without us even realizing it. It is a creative discipline that focuses on visual communication by arranging images
and text to communicate a message. It combines many mediums, from traditional art to modern technology. Most importantly, graphic design is about ideas. It's thinking first drawing and computers later.

Do you see things that others don't. Do you feel the colour, texture and rythym
of the world around you. Do you ask questions? Do you question the answers?
Do you think outside the box and explore different solutions to life's problems.
If so, a career in graphic design might be for you and we have a great
opportunity for you.

If you are currently enrolled in a Queensland high school, studying English and are in year 12 you can enter our Design Scholarship Competition. The prize, a 2 year fully funded scholarship into Design College Australia's Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication. The scholarship is valued at approximately $25,000.
