Design Brief
A “brief” is the mechanism by which clients communicate their needs to a designer. No matter how good the design or idea may be, if a designer
doesn’t address the needs of the brief, the design won’t work in the way the client wants. For this reason, it is very important that you read and
understand the brief, and refer to it often while addressing your design to make sure you are not straying from the needs of the brief.
In this case, Design College Australia is the client, and YOU are the designer! And here is your brief:
Part A
The Apple Macintosh revolutionised the design industry and introduced new and exciting things that could be done on a computer; things that today we take for granted. You are required to design and produce a poster that commemorates the 25th anniversary of the release by Apple of the Machintosh Computer. The poster is to be displayed in Apple stores Australia wide.
