Design College Australia has a university pathway with University of Sunshine Coast, which allows students who have successfully completed the Advanced Diploma in Visual Communication (Design) to enter into a number of Bachelor degrees with the University. The qualification that has already been achieved at Design College Australia is credited towards the University degree.

the University are as follows:
bachelor of arts
Students will receive 12 courses of advanced standing. In order to complete the Bachelor of Arts students will be required to complete an additional 12 courses at the University.
bachelor of computer - based design
Students will receive 12 courses of advanced standing. To complete the Bachelor of Arts students will be required to complete an additional 12 courses at the University.
bachelor of arts (design & communication)
Students will receive 12 courses of advanced standing. To complete the Bachelor of Arts students will be required to complete an additional 12 courses at the University.
bachelor of arts/bachelor of business
(design and marketing)
Students will receive 10 courses of advanced standing. To complete the Bachelor of Arts students will be required to complete an additional 22 courses at the University.
