This course is a merging of design based disciplines and digital photography techniques. It will help develop an understanding of graphic design and photoimaging. The course introduces students to the design process, utilizing principles such as composition, colour theory, digital work flows, typographical layout, image reproduction and camera craft. Students will also learn how to technically and creatively combine type and image through the Adobe Creative Suite, with a particular focus on Photoshop.

Direction will be offered to help students design images from a unique perspective, alongside encouragement to experiment creatively.
This course will assist students in gaining a strong creative eye via
the combination of design and photography.
